The ISD1820 is an easy-to-use voice recording and playback module designed for Arduino and microcontroller projects. It features an onboard microphone for direct sound capture and non-volatile flash memory that retains your recording even when power is disconnected. With a recording duration of up to 10 seconds, this module can be operated manually via onboard buttons or controlled digitally via an Arduino/Raspberry Pi. The kit includes a small 8-Ohm loudspeaker, making it a complete “out-of-the-box” solution for adding sound effects, voice prompts, or alarm messages to your electronic projects.
